…who walked into a bookstore over the past few days and bought the following two books (yes, for myself):
- Eloquent Witness: Nibley on Himself, Others, and the Temple (Collected Works of Hugh Nibley, Vol. 17) by Hugh Nibley (edited by Stephen D. Ricks)
- Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Already finished Breaking Dawn, too. ..bruce..
you read breaking dawn!? wow. that took me by surprise!!
Hey, Robin! Hope you’re doing well.
Yep, read the whole quadrology (or whatever the right term is). I picked up the first one late last year mostly out of curiosity over her sales (cf. ), then read the rest mostly to find out what happens. I have some critiques of the series, but I have to admit that she’s pretty good at writing a page turner. Also, Sandra assures me that 17-year-old girls really can be that intense. 🙂
Also, she’s cranked out roughly 2000 pages — and sold millions of copies — while I have yet to finish writing my first novel (in spite of plinking away at it for years). So I have to give her lots of credit for that, as well. ..bruce..
